# Multiple (Splitting + Combining)

You can split a placeholder, then combine the split parts into a formatted output.

```yaml
placeholders:
  advanced_example:
    placeholder_splits:
      '%player_name%':
        split: [ '2_letters', '1_letters' ]
        outputs:
          first: '{part_1}'
          second: '{part_2}'
          third: '{part_3}'
    placeholder_combine:
      placeholders:
        - '{part_1}'
        - '{part_2}'
        - '{part_3}'
      format: '<red>Split: <yellow>[{1}] <green>[{2}] <gold>[{3}]'

```

Example Input: `"Junkeh"`

Output:\
`<red>Split: <yellow>[Ju] <green>[n] <gold>[keh]`
